AGH UST Concert Band (ORAGH) is a group of young people; primarily students at the Krakow University of Science and Technology as well as other universities, who share one pas­sion -music.

ORAGH was founded in 2001. lt was the first concert band that represented a technical university in Poland. The band has a wide musical repertoire, however, most of it consists of light and film music.

Orchestra has performed on various important occasions, such as ceremonies at the AGH University of Science and Technolo­gy, a plethora of Krakow music clubs, as well as in international festivals, both domestically and abroad.

The most recent successes include:

  • 1st place in “concert” category and 2nd place in “marching” cat­egory during “Ι Polish Open Band Championships” in Radom (2023)
  • 1st place in the “International Competition and Festival of Arts “Summer Stars of Durres” (2023)
  • 2nd place in the “Concert” category in the lnternational Orches­tra Festival and Competition “Golden Sardana” in Lloret de Mar, Spain (2022)
  • 1st place in the 17th lnternational Festival of Brass Bands Gold Trumpet (2021)
  • the title of World Champions in the “Con­cert Band” category during the World Association of Marching Showbands World Championship in Calgary, Canada (2019)

Since 2022, the conductor of the ORAGH has been Adrian Bator.
